Begoña is a body and transpersonal psychotherapist. She has been working for more than 15 years uniting the path of spiritual awakening with that of personal development, giving equal importance to both and integrating Eastern and Western techniques. She has trained as a transpersonal, systemic, and bioenergetic psychotherapist, yoga teacher, and she can proudly say she is a mindfulness expert.
A 5-year trip through Asia brought her into contact with Theravada and Mahayana Buddhism, and she was a Zen nun for more than 10 years, so all her work is partly influenced by Buddhism.
"We are not only human beings trying to learn our divinity. We are also spiritual beings trying to learn to be human. During my life experience, I have observed that many people enter the spiritual world to avoid the discomfort of their emotions and unresolved conflicts, meanwhile others become obsessed with being better people and put all their attention on the wounds, the blockages, and the pending work, forgetting to search for their true nature and therefore getting lost in a labyrinth in which they only change their disguise. I direct my energy towards enabling spaces of silence, nature, and purification to make the mystical experience accessible, at the same time that we investigate the wounds of the character in order to change harmful behavior patterns, which makes possible the joint work of these two paths that many believe are antagonistic, is care in harmony between body, mental, emotional and energy and especially, compassion".
