Chema Martinez Hernandez

A process of existential crisis while I was studying Physics led me to search for what I understood as freedom from a very young age. My desire from that moment was to get closer to metaphysics and to the discovery that the human being was really, how the mind worked and if there was something beyond what science explained. This is how a Yoga teacher appeared in my life, it was 6 years of not understanding much what my teacher tried to show me through his own life experience, but something deep down attracted me to this millenary science. Then came the mourning after the loss of my teacher and that is how I ended up in the Yoga Sivananda training institution with Swami Omkarananda, where I spent 8 years in training and received the spiritual name and the subsequent initiation to Sanatanan Dharma. They were eight wonderful years where I instructed myself as a good student and spiritual practitioner.

I continued studying in the field of knowledge of the human psyche and trained as a transpersonal, corporal and systemic therapist. This allowed me to continue deepening in my path of observation of the darkest spaces of my mind, in the accompaniment of souls in their process of personal transformation and in the detailed study of the Vedanta advaita philosophy through Ivan Oleiros (Sesha). My training in Reiki, Yoga for Health and Bioenergetics are many of the tools that I have tried to investigate and that have allowed me to establish myself with more roots if possible in the practice of Yoga and Meditation.

I understand after the journey that I will never stop being a student in Yoga and Vedanta philosophy, and that is my destiny in this incarnation.

I thank all those beings who have accompanied me and those who continue to do so. My objective in this training is to accompany people towards the recognition of their hidden gifts and abilities and to strengthen those they already know, so I understand that it is easier to travel along the shores of pleasure and suffering in this river of life.
