Born into a traditional Buddhist family, he entered the Rumtek Buddhist University of Advanced Studies (Nalanda Shedra) at a very young age, in the main monastery of the Karma Kagyu lineage in Sikkin, northwest India, where he obtained the title of Khenpo (scholar) after to study 9 years of the complete traditional cycle of Buddhist philosophical studies.
Subsequently, he taught for 6 years at the Karmapa International Buddhist Institute (KIBI) in New Delhi, and for 3 years at the Shri Diwakar Buddhist Academy Research, Kalimpong, in the Indian state of West Bengal. In 1999, he began to teach Buddhist philosophy courses in most Latin American countries and in many European Buddhist centers, where he also directed long-term retreats, an activity that he currently maintains, mainly in Buddhist centers in Europe and India. In 2012 he founded the Friendship in Harmony Association (Thundrel Sogpha), in Malaga, and in 2015 the Chokyi Ö retreat center in Gerona, both for the dissemination of Tibetan Buddhist philosophy and where courses and meditation retreats are held, among other activities. . So far he has published two books, The 4 Dharma Seals translated into Spanish and French and Commentary on an Essential Instruction on Refuge and Bodhicitta by Patrul Rinpoche, translated into Spanish.
