"I have always been interested in finding an effective method to alleviate suffering. Initially, intervening in the relational context in which it occurs, through family and couples therapy, and providing personal resources to improve relationships, to through training in social skills. Later, I became interested in the practice of mindfulness, as a method to develop awareness and the ability to observe one's own suffering and the psychological processes that trigger it.
