"Zen in its Pure state"
President and Spiritual Leader of the Great Mountain Zen Center in Colorado (USA). Successor of the Dharma of Taizan Maezumi Roshi, having studied in the two main lineages of Zen, Soto and Rinzai. It received the broadcast from Maezumi Roshi in 1990 after 24 years of Zen training under the tutelage of Maezumi, Shunryu Suzuki Roshi, and Sochu Suzuki Roshi.
Administrator of the Los Angeles Zen Center and the Kuroda Institute for the Study of Buddhism and Human Values for 8 years. Founder of the Great Mountain Zen Center in 1996.
