In an era in which multitasking and being always busy is glorified it seems to me that it is easy to get lost in the daily maelstrom.
However, we all need time for ourselves, to recognize ourselves and to know what our soul’s desire is. We live super connected, and at the same time we disconnect from the most important person: yourSELF
I think it’s time to come back to you. And this may sound confusing for, how would you return to yourself if you have always inhabited your body? However, it is very easy to get lost with so many distractions around our tangible world. Thus, we forget about our essential needs and we forget that, by satisfying them, our vibration goes higher.
In my experience, I have noticed that it may be easier to understand this “return to yourself” for people who have been through a loss or a difficult situation. Since in such sensitive moments it seems easier to realize the need to have yourself, recover and take care of yourself in order to find inner peace. But when you have not gone through something apparently strong, there is that feeling that you simply need something else …
Frustrated, and rightly so, the mind cannot go blank, it cannot remain without any thoughts, if this is what this phrase means. Trying to run out of thoughts is like attempting to stop the heart.
For me one of the best ways to disconnect has been to attend a yoga and meditation retreat. Well, it was a way to turn off all the external noise to be able to connect with my higher Self … not before having faced my own “demons”, those old structures which for some reason no longer work.
Today I invite you to recover, to build the road back home and to remember that you are a human being and not a human doing.
Remember that we are magic, give yourself love and, only then, will you receive it.
