Women need to come back to ourselves, to the essence of who we are. And it is easier if we are accompanied in the process.
We need to mingle, to strengthen our bonds, to count on each other, to sing and express ourselves, to weave and to listen… We need to lick our wounds, howl at the moon in pack and remember the joy of being alive.
For a long time we have succumbed to all kinds of external demands giving away our personal power, what we really are, outside. And we have done it in the form of different ‘it is how it is supposed to be …
’It is in that oblivion of ourselves that we have disconnected from our truth, from our bodies, from our real feelings, from ‘what I feel like’ to fit in everything else.
We have done it in various ways: by becoming more masculine or turning into ‘super-women’; by worshiping the external appearance or trying to save others; even putting the needs of others before our own …
And as if it were not enough, all this dyed with a suspiciously shared halo of guilt, of excessive perfectionism, of certain submission and low self-esteem. We can take this power back and take the leap from ‘love to power’ to the ‘power of love’. Because love is what we really are.
We need to share from the observant presence.
In circles, in songs, in conscious doings, in rich meals, in whatever forms of dances, in the joy of movement, in starry walks, in laughter, in excursions to new places, in forests, in rivers … because nature, she reminds us who we are.
She reminds us to reconnect and re-inhabit the body completely and deeply, to take food away from our obsessions and anxieties and nourish ourselves with genuine truth, to accept and love ourselves.
Recovering slowly our ability to feel. In women’s retreats we grow stronger together, we grow lighter.
IN women’s retreats we encourage and learn from each other, lighting our shadows so that they can bring light again. We inspire each other to allow new fresh air, courage, confidence, sense of humour and re-creating ourselves from that juicy space.
Together as women we create safe spaces to get out of the mind and re-enter the body that is our land.
Because we need our land. Because the Earth needs us too. The time has come to return to our own nature.
