Chontachaka Ecological Reserve

The Chontachaka Ecological Reserve is located six hours by road from the city of Cuzco, in southeastern Peru.

It is a lodge built in wood and bamboo, located in the high tropical forest of the south of the Manu Biosphere Reserve. The Manu Biosphere Reserve is one of the largest protected rainforest areas in the world, and also one of the most biodiverse. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

The Chontachaka Ecological Reserve hostel is made up of several bungalows. One of them welcomes the kitchen, dining room and living room. Another is dedicated to a shared dormitory, with a capacity of 18 beds, showers and toilets. Two more are private bedrooms with three beds each, shower and toilet. Finally, one more was built as an ideal space for the celebration of ceremonies.

It is an ideal place for relaxation, rest and retreat from the busy urban environment.
