Hospitality of the Monestir de Sant Daniel

The Benedictine tradition of l'colliment has always been present at the monastery of Sant Daniel, practically from the seva foundation. The activity of hostages, doncs, is not new but for us we present a new stage: a hostagery that occupies the facilities on, ends this past course, is located in the residence of university students. It is a collection of modern installations annexed to the Monestir Mil Lenari, on the outskirts of the Galligants and facing Girona. The idea of rethinking the hostage is one of the mainstays of the opening will present in the project for the celebration of the Mil·lenari del monestir: the hostageria is open to any person who is looking for a space with silence, contact both nature and, in a very special way, to those people or groups that vulguin delve into research as spiritual and human as it is scientific, both in states of dies and in longer states. A l'hostageria hi tenim, apart from the bedrooms, various spaces with the library or a large living room for fer-hi meetings, also hi has the possibility of coming to fer-hi courses. All the hosts are personal accomplices and we show the most emblematic spaces of monestir to introduce them, or in depth, in the knowledge of history, art and monastic life. The hostageria has double and single rooms, totes with nice clothes, with a space to work and with internet access. I also have access to a part of the monestir garden and it is adapted for people with mobility difficulties.
