Surroundings

Navaluenga is a town in the southern part of the province of Ávila that enjoys a privileged environment. Located at the foot of the foothills of the Sierra de Gredos, where the Rollar, Gargantilla, Chivetiles, Raíos, Maguillo and La Cabrera gorges are born, with very clean waters and incredible places where meadows and orchards alternate with leafy oak vegetation , ash, walnut and chestnut trees. The river Alberche, which flows through the valley, forms some well-cared natural pools as it passes through the municipality, of which the Romanesque bridge, the pride of the town, dating from the 16th century, is an exceptional witness. This leisure area has large lawns, showers and a picnic area.

Public transportation

It can be reached from Madrid by bus, leaving the Méndez Álvaro station, or by train to Ávila and taking the interchange with the bus to Navaluenga. There is a taxi service in the town.
