  Versatile musician with extraordinary sensitivity and experienced meditator

  He became passionate about music at a young age and, after playing the piano for a few years, he picked up his first guitar at the age of 17. After few years of lessons with different teachers, David started studying at the Canary Islands Conservatory, in Tenerife, where he obtained a bachelors degree in classical guitar. In the meantime time David recorded his first album called “Mei” (as a tribute to his grandfather) supported by the Canary Island Government and Balcón del Valle, based on own compositions and with the collaboration of great musicians like Jose Pedro Pérez (pc), Kike Perdomo (sax), Jairo Cabrera (fl), Felu Morales (bass) and Audun Waage (tp). After studying classical guitar, he moved to Granada where he started being in contact with flamenco and jazz musicians from the area. In this city he performed regularly as solo guitarist in “La Alhambra” and combined this activity with differ- ent teaching jobs. After one year of living in Granada he got accepted into a Master program in Jazz guitar in the Nederlands. During this period David put his focus on improvising and composing, combining it with flamenco lessons at the Conservatories of Amsterdam and Rotterdam. In 2014 he release his second álbum “Puerto del Mar” (96kmusic) with colabo- rations as Jorge Pardo (flute) and Kike Perdomo (sax) within others. Reflecting the mixture of two styles that he has being working the last years (flamenco and Jazz). In 2015 he win the first scholarship from Fundación Cajacanarias to study in the prestigious Berklee School of Music in Valencia and he start playing with the teachers Victor Mendoza, Perico Sambeat, Mariano Steimberg, Sergio Martinez within others... He has performed on many stages over Europe and North Africa like: Les Recon- tres méditerranéennes de la guitare (Morocco), Spanish Embassy in Paris (France), Jazz Maastricht (Nederland), Maastricht University (Nederland), Theater La Bon- bonniére with grupo Zyryab and Special Guest Jeronimo Maya. Accommodation

• House located in the province of Castellón. When the first people went to visit the site for the first time, one of the things that struck them was the magical light of the sun at sunset and the play of that light on the trees and on the fields. Within the grounds of the retreat center there is a very beautiful pine forest situated on a small hill. It is a somewhat mysterious place and conducive to performing rituals.
