Casa de Paz is a retreat center located in Castell de Castells, in the Valencian Community. Lying in the interior of the province of Alicante, we enjoy the privilege of being surrounded by Forest and Mountains in an authentic countrified environment.

A Aware Stay at Casa de Paz begins with a warm personalized welcome and an orientation to the facilities, area and activities of the center. Participants have the option to participate in a variety of activities, including:

A place to Feel. It is a three-floors building restored with good taste and simplicity respecting the architecture of the area. We have four bedrooms, two of them double, one triple and one with a double bed. The rooms, which bear the names of the mountains that surround us, are very comfortable and have a complete private bathroom inside the room and are fully equipped, with bed linen, towels and toiletries. The living areas are spacious and comfortable. We have a living room where 9-10 people can sit comfortably around the fireplace and a terrace-solarium with sun loungers and garden furniture. There is also a charming patio on the ground floor. The dining room can be used by up to 10 people. The kitchen is fully equipped and has enough kitchenware to cook and serve all guests. Casa de Paz is located in the urban area of Castell de Castells, a quiet, endearing town... one of those towns that few remain. Framed in an environment of great natural beauty, surrounded by forest and mountains, Casa de Paz is a home that invites you to rest and meditate and where you can breathe an atmosphere of peace as soon as you cross its threshold.

At Casa de Paz we live Ome and JJ, a Spanish-Colombian couple who enjoy the gift of being able to open the doors of our home to you, now converted into a retreat center.

You have at your disposal the living room, the dining room and the terrace-solarium to do whatever you feel like. There are countless hiking routes and walks in the area that you can take from practically the door of the house. Optionally, if you feel inspired, you can book a Aware Hiking route with JJ. He will accompany you to truly wonderful places around us!

You will find the beaches of the Costa Blanca just over 30 minutes by car, it is another option. As well as visiting towns and places of tourist and cultural interest in the area where we are.

The schedule for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner included will be agreed upon when you arrive according to your needs and our possibilities.

The Retirement Stay includes half board. You will be provided with the use of the kitchen for food not included. You will have space to store your food. There are small food stores in the town, as well as supermarkets in nearby towns. There are also several bars and restaurants both in Castell de Castells and in other surrounding towns.

If you feel like doing so, you have Ome at your disposal to arrange an individual Facilitation session and share with her what could be hindering your natural state of peace. She will guide you towards deepening your feelings to embrace them, love them and... let them go!

We can pick you up by car at one of these points. The cost of fuel will be your responsibility.

Additional information

No smoking in the house except on the roof terrace.
Most of the house is carpeted, so we ask not to wear street shoes inside. We recommend that you bring "walking around the house" shoes or similar.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel more than 10 days before the retreat’s arrival date: The dates are rescheduled so you can attend that same retreat later.
If you cancel less than 10 days before the retreat’s start date: The deposit is lost.

If the retreat or event is cancelled due to a situation of force majeure, the full deposit is reimbursed.
